Fire (help and Safety) Colin Easton
Since the introduction of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 it is now mandatory for all non-domestic premises to have a Fire Risk Assessment carried out. This also includes houses in multiple occupation that are required to be licensed.
The new regulations are principally self-compliant through the risk assessment process and responsibility for compliance now rests firmly with the employer or anyone who has control to any extent of the premises.
Many employers simply don’t have the time, confidence or underpinning knowledge to do this.
Have your Fire Risk Assessment carried out on your behalf by a fully qualified and competent former local authority Fire Safety Officer with 16 years specialist, practical experience in fire safety and certified to national standards. As a licensed user of PAS 79 : 2012 using the most up to date 'British Standard' template, any findings and recommendations that are made to comply with the regulations will be done in the most cost effective way for your organisation
