If you are travelling to Galashiels Via the A72 Peebles to
Galashiels road, upon entering the 30mph speed limit you
should drive down Wood Street, which has traffic islands in
the middle, making the road very narrow, and continue driving
down the hill towards Leabrae. Continuing on you will come
across a small retail park and a phone box of the left. Turn
right at the telephone box and you are now entering Duke
Street. SAFE Services have our offices set back a little and
opposite the Bus Depot, on the left hand side. Parking
Facilities are available directly in front of the
building.
Alternatively, if you are entering Galashiels
Via the A7 you should follow the road straight ahead torwards
the center of the town, which is all one way. Once you reach
the Stop sign you should go into the left hand lane for the
A72 (Peebles route) and follow the road right around the town,
keeping in the A72 lane at all times. Follow the road past
McDonalds and Border Circuits. Take the first road on the left
(opposite the small retail park), and you will have entered
Duke street. |
